How do I verify my phone number?

When setting up your Grabr profile, we will ask you to verify your phone number. This ensures the security of your account and allows you to receive important notifications.
Here is the step-by-step process:
- Go to your account → Account details.
- Enter your phone number in the international format. Start with a plus sign (+), then write the country code followed by the full phone number. For example, a US number would be written as +14081234567.
- Tap "Verify via SMS" or "Verify via Voice Call" to request a code.
- Enter the 6-digit code you receive via SMS or hear over the phone.
Troubleshooting and Tips
- Wait one hour: If the verification fails or you do not receive the SMS, please wait at least one hour before trying to request the code again. (User comment)
- Check signal and settings: Make sure your phone is set to receive calls and SMS, and check that no call-blocking settings are enabled.
- Verify accuracy: Ensure you have entered your own phone number exactly, including the country code, to check your reception.
- App and Phone: Try rebooting your phone or deleting and reinstalling the latest version of the Grabr app.
Number already in use: If you see a message stating your number is already in use, it likely means you have a previous account; Grabr recommends logging into that existing account.
