How to Shop on Grabr from Uruguay

Grabr lets you easily get products from other countries at a cheaper prices and those that are not available locally, delivered by trusted travelers.

How to Shop on Grabr

1. Tell us what you’re shopping for

Paste a link to the item you want from Amazon, Apple, Ebay or any other online store. 

Select the city where you want the item delivered and the date you’d like to receive your product.

2. Pay securely on Grabr

We’ll pre-authorize your card for the total order amount.

You won’t be charged (you might see the amount taken from your account as a hold) until you’re successfully matched with a traveler who can bring your item.

If you aren’t matched within 6 days, we’ll issue a full refund to your account.

3. We’ll match you with a traveler who can deliver your item

Travelers heading to your city will see your order and select to deliver it on their trip.

Your traveler will then buy, safely pack and deliver your item. Grabr offers a money back guarantee if you don’t receive your item.

4. Get your item!

Meet your traveler in a public place to collect your item. Once you confirm delivery, we’ll transfer payment to your traveler.

Matching with a traveler

You can expect to be matched with a traveler after 48 hours. In some cases, it could take up to 6 days. We always aim to show your order to top rated travelers in our community. 

The traveler’s reward is a fixed price and non-negotiable, so there will be fewer logistics to coordinate.If you aren’t matched with a traveler within 6 days, you have two options:
1. Opt to re-publish your order for another week.
2. Cancel your order and receive a full refund.

How will payments work

We’ll pre-authorize your card for the total amount. When you’re matched with a traveler, your payment will be processed. If you aren’t matched with a traveler within 6 days, you can either re-publish your order to our travel community or cancel and receive a full refund.

After being matched with a traveler, they will buy your item with their own money, safely pack and deliver it to you. Grabr securely holds your money until you confirm that you received your item. Then, we’ll transfer payment to your traveler.

What if my traveler is saying that he/she will deliver later than I need?

If you don’t need your item by a certain date, communicate this to your traveler. It may be that their trip was delayed a couple of days and that they can still bring your item.

If your delivery dates are not flexible and you’ve already been matched with a traveler, ask them to cancel the order so you can request a full refund. For any issues, please contact our customer service team.

My traveler is asking to change the price, because there is a price increase.

If this happens, the best thing to do is for your traveler to cancel the order. Then, you can receive a full refund.
Next, create a new order for the same item, with the correct price reflected. Your traveler can then opt to deliver your newly placed order, same as before.
